About Elliot
Elliot was born in Upstate New York and moved to South Florida in December of 2002 from Toledo, Ohio. He was married in 2015 and has two dogs and a cat. What matters most to him is family and friends, community outreach, and protecting individuals, families and businesses with their health and growing their wealth especially these days as we go through the hardships of the pandemic.
Growing up he participated in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorers and various religious youth groups where he learned many skills which he still uses today. Throughout his life, he learned to work hard, have influence in the community through outreach, always do the right thing, and learned with challenging work anything is possible. A true mensch!
Prior to joining the Insurance Industry in 2012, Elliot has over 25 years of experience in the following industries: Banking, Credit, Collections, Legal & Recovery, Business Lending, Mortgages, Business Consulting, Accounting and Finance.
Elliot earned his MA (Master in Accounting) from Florida Atlantic University in Forensic Accounting in 2010. Skills gained and learned include: Accounting Fraud Exam Concepts, Accounting Fraud Exam Conduct & Procedures, Auditing Theory and Practice, Business Valuations, Financial Reporting and Forensic Accounting and the Legal Environment.
Elliot also achieved his MBA in Management and Finance from the University of Toledo in 2002. Skills gained and learned include: Accounting, Business Law, Financial Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations Management, and Strategic Planning.
His hobbies include music, photography, nature, the outdoors, traveling and sports. He is a big Yankees, 49ers, 76ers, NY Rangers fan and follows the University of Michigan, University of Toledo and University of Miami, FL.
